if c tourguide ((TCG) "DN purposes") mag spec summon ni sangan.. and ma send c sangan sa grave , mu resolve pa ba ang effect ni sangan na search? i heard rumors na ge change daw nila ang rulings /w sangan & tourguide.
Correct me if im wrong :DDD

kung OCG rulings, if na send si sangan as exceed material, d ma activate iyang eff
sa TCG says otherwise.

since most of the nublets sa DN are using tcg, then you need to follow such thing, unless ga ocg imong contra

Yes tama si mark, Sangan is now considered an XYZ material and therefore considered not on the field.

Actually, wala na ang rulings na naa pa sa field si Sangan, so dili siya mag search if na remove as Exceed Material, same goes for Reborn Tengu

hahaha lageh, abi nako ang Tournament Rulings pasabot ni anton .xDD anyways move ra nako ni.

If sangan was use an XYZ material dili magamit iyang effect.

lets say, c tourguide.. spec sumon c sangan. negated ang effect ni sangan. nag chain ang kalaban ug..
e.g icarus atack
destroyed c sangan and c tourguide, now, mu resolve pa ba ang effect ni sangan?

Eff ni sangan sa activate sa graveyard, so Sangan's eff is activated even if negated iyang eff sa field

Effect: When this card is sent from the field to the Graveyard: Add 1 monster with 1500 or less ATK from your Deck to your hand.

And the Rulings say that Xyz material monsters are not considered on the field. So therefore, Sangan and Tengu can't use their effects when detached.

But How about Dandylion? can you have two fluff tokens when it was used as an xyz material monster and then detached?

ALL EXCEED MATERIAL MONSTERS ARE CONSIDERED NOT ON THE FIELD. ERGO MEANING, CARDS THAT SAY "WHEN THIS CARD IS SENT FROM THE FIELD TO THE GRAVEYARD . . ."; THEIR EFFECTS WOULDN'T ACTIVATE.


Dandylion on the other hand says "When this card is sent to the graveyard." As long as it is sent to the graveyard, either as tribute, fusion, ritual, cost, discard, milled, synchroed, and yes, exceeded.
